Hold down "." on the numeric keypad while playing?

Does nothing

@jm8443431, actually - it does. It keeps the cursor in the center of the timeline and the timeline scrolls underneath it. I double checked before posting. But make sure it's the decimal point on the keypad. The regular period won't work.

Sorry if im confused on this. but the white marker that follows the timeline when you press play/pause is what i'm talking about. i wasn't sure what its called unless that is what your talking about ? also thanks

Yes, the white "cursor" that moves when the timeline is playing. Holding down the "." on the numeric keypad will keep it in the center of the screen and the timeline will scroll past it.
