Movie Studio 13 and dvd architect WILL NOT INSTALL

Hello. I have just bought the downloadable software from the website, and it finished downloading the install wizard. Upon downloading the software, towards the end, this shows up: ERROR: -2147163964 occurred during installation. It also displays that a plug-in/audio_x64/sfppack1_x64.dll failed to register. I have an i7 4710hq 2.50 GHz cpu, 24 gb ram, geforce gtx 970m gpu, and 64-bit windows 10. I have no idea this will not install. Same goes with dvd architect. It installed but will not open. If someone could please help, it will be greatly appreciated.

Just a guess, but you may have skipped the installation of the required NET Framework, because you think you already have it,; any chance I'm right?

Good guess but it seems to be a permissions thing. At least that's what THIS example says that I found doing a "2147163964" search on the 'net.

It seems to be a common issue as 3,210 results were found.

To run the installer, right click on the installer EXE and select "Run as administrator" from the popup menu. Does that work?
