movie studio 13 and legit kepler support

does movie studio 13's mainconcept h264 plugin have legitimate actual cuda and opencl support for kepler (6 and 7 series nvidia cards) which actually uses the hardware instead of just being patched to not crash?

and if it does that begs the question why it wasn't patched into movie studio 12 in the past 2 years but nonetheless.

i want my faster encoding back. i'm potentially willing to put up with msp13's atrocious ui changes aimed at devices that will run out of battery life before an encode is complete if it means i can have actual legit opencl/cuda support for my hardware again.

otherwise i'll be shopping around for the first editor that doesn't take money from amd to gimp their customers who use nvidia.

That takes the award for the most ridiculous statement of the week. You should be spanked.

Hey dirtyklingon - that was really a little awkward - hmmm just sayin

what's awkward about it?

i like how the question gets ignored.

movie studio 12's main concept plug in doesn't actually support 6 or 7 series video cards for GPGPU in either CUDA or opencl.

the gpu isn't used at all by the plug in, which is the only one who's output is supported by the vast majority of internet video streaming sites.

so does movie studio 13 have actual support in w/e plug in is for internet HD video with GPGPU support for nvidia 6 and 7 series cards or not?

it's really a simple question that any one with a kepler card and precision or after burner installed can answer pretty easily.

i'm seeing coin mining apps that support kepler spring up and SUPRISE! kepler is faster than GCN from amd.

so why is there a new version of movie studio that hasn't seen an update in months while basic advertised features are left unsupported on modern hardware?

with the threads that have popped up on movie studio 13's stability issues i don't think i'll be taking advantage of the "discount" for upgrading at this time.

so now i am leaving feedback for the big wigs at sony. their online games division while an almost completely seperate company in itself are changing their act. maybe sony's creative software division will follow their cue.

I am sure the answer is a resounding "NO" - please review the forums entirely for some discussions.

when i posted this thread there was only one thread visible on the first 2 pages about movie studio 13 and it was about how terrible the UI is in it.

but thanks for actually answering the question on your second try friend.
