Movie Studio 16 Platinum installer failing to install software

Heyo, I'm trying to install Vegas Movie Studio 16 Platinum and I just can't get the installer to work. Every time I try to run the installer, it gives me the following error:

"An error occurred during transfer which caused the installer to stop. This problem can most likely be fixed by restarting the installer application. If you experience further problems, contact the MAGIX support: http://support.magix.com

Click "OK" to restart the installation transfer"

I tried clicking "OK" only for the installer to output this same error every time it reaches 100%. This also happens to all of the other programs the installer attempts to install.

I've also made sure everything on my PC was up to date and I also (temporarily) disabled Windows Firewall and my Anti-Virus.

Software I am attempting to install:

Vegas Movie Studio 16 Platinum via vegasmoviestudio16platinum_dlm.exe

Please clarify. Is the software failing to download or does it download and then not install?

I somehow got it to work today for some reason, although the installer is a bit buggy.

I'll provide more details later as I don't have time at the moment.

It looks like this is more of a bug report more than a technical support issue now:

I somehow got the installer to work (albeit not perfectly) yesterday. However... I would often get the same error during the downloading phase:

"An error occurred during transfer which caused the installer to stop. This problem can most likely be fixed by restarting the installer application. If you experience further problems, contact the MAGIX support: http://support.magix.com

Click "OK" to restart the installation transfer"

Clicking "OK" would cause the installer to restart the download process again for the program installer. I would click "OK" and one of the following would happen:

1. It would take 1-3 times of seeing this error and clicking "OK" and eventually the program installer would download properly and the error would not happen again (for that specific program installer download) and the installer would run as expected.

OR

2. The error would always continue to happen regardless of how many times I clicked "OK" and restarted the download process. Clicking "Cancel" would cause the program (vegasmoviestudio16platinum_dlm.exe) to mark it as downloaded and as soon as it tries to run the installer, it outputs one of the following errors:

"NSIS Error

Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.

More information at http://nsis.sf.net/NSIS_Error"

OR

"The setup file is corrupted. If you downloaded this file from the internet, please download it again."

OR

It skips installing that specific program and moves on to the next one.

I got around this by closing and restarting vegasmoviestudio16platinum_dlm.exe (once it completed installing the programs that did download properly) and then tried to download the programs again and eventually, I was able to install the needed programs.
