Movie Studio 17.0 Platinum don't start

Jesus-CM wrote on 12/28/2021, 12:14 PM

Previously the program worked without any problems, working normally.
Now, after the startup screen, the program windows are not fully rendered. The promotion window to update the program version always appears despite clicking on the "Do not show this warning again" check box, even on any other program window.

Processor: i7-11370H - Iris Graphics Xe
RAM: 16GB
Windows 10 Home - 21H2 - Build 19044.1415
All drivers updated

I have reinstalled the program several times, including doing a total cleanup of the Windows registry and related folders.
I have done a factory reset (CTRL+SHIFT + double click on program icon on desktop), with no solution.

I have tried all the solutions proposed in the user forum without any solution to my problem.

Attached is a screenshot of the problem.

Try to start the program with hold Ctrl+Shift on your keyboard and delete all the cached files.

Thanks for the answer.
I wrote in advance:
"I have done a factory reset (CTRL+SHIFT + double click on program icon on desktop), with no solution."
I have tested by installing a previous version (build 221). The windows are displayed correctly, but when executing any action with the program it crashes.

It does not respond and freeze on click (see screenshots attached)

Problem solved.
Thanks to Magix support, they have provided me with the solution to my problem and it consisted in updating the graphics driver of my laptop (dell Inspiron 15 5510), with Intel Xe graphics.
The latest driver version available (30.0.101.1191) has fixed the program freezing problem.
The driver update system on my laptop never indicated that this version was available for my computer, so I didn't think this was the problem.
Forcing the update to that version has made the program work without any problem.
