I have owned several version of Movie Studio over the years and never had a problem like this one, I recently upgraded my computer and had to purchased a new download of Movie studio 17. While doing some editing I noticed it wouldn't playback mp3 files correctly, just a high pitch squeal. The file play fine with other music players on my system ( I tried several other mp3 files with same results). I have checked all the settings and even uninstalled and reinstalled the program. The results are the same.

I am running the following on my system:

Win 10 64 bit professional

i7 11th Gen Cpu

64GB ram

Creative Z audio card (SoundBlaster)

I have had this same version on my old Harddrive with no problems, but now I get this issue
