movie studio 3.0

I just bought movie studio 3.0, but I'm not able to get past the capture stage. When i press the capture button, i get the following error message: the device "SOMA preview" could not be opened". My capture source is sony pc-105 digital camcorder, and my computer is sony RZ24-G. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

After reading the messages on this forum, I was able to re-install the program and select my camcorder under the video option in the capture mode. However, now my imported image only has video without the sound. Uggh, this has been a frustrating day....
