Movie Studio+DVD

I've installed the Movie Studio+DVD to my Windows XP successfully but it won't start. Instead I get a dialox box stating: (16 bit Windows Subsystem.
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows application.)
What steps can I take to make this software work? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Acropolis.

This error message suggests that there is a problem with the mechanism WindowsXP (a 32-bit system) uses to run 16-bit software - there are a couple of files that sometimes get corrupted or accidentally deleted. You can see Microsoft's recommendations for fixing the problem at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;324767&Product=winxp

However it seems a bit strange that any recently released application would be attempting to do anything involving 16-bit software, so maybe your problem is something else.

Anyway, it shouldn't take long to run through the procedure in the Knowledge Base article to see if that fixes it. If not, perhaps someone else has a suggestion.
