Movie Studio Free At Frys

Frys electronics and Frys.com are selling SVMS 12 Platinum Suite which ends up being free after rebate.

Anyone interested can go to the store or frys.com and enter the item number 7228703. Follow the instructions to order.

I got my copy free last year.

It's a $50 rebate.
To get the other $50 you need to supply proof of competitive upgrade.

That's true. I figure that most people using this forum either has a current or older version so they will have the cd for the upgrade rebate.

It's not a progressive upgrade from Movie Studio. It's a competitive upgrade from one of the following:

Adobe Premiere Elements, Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements Bundle, Pinnacle Studio, Pinnacle Studio Plus, Pinnacle Studio Ultimate,

It is not a gimme that "most people using this forum either has a current or older version so they will have the cd for the upgrade rebate." Anything I would have are much older than any titles on that list, but I've been nipped by lots of online "gotchas" since yesterday, and consequently, have not spent a dime online sofar. Seems to be quite the game this year . . .
