Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 won't start

Hi
I have Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 but have never used it because I also own Vegas Pro 10 which is installed on a second machine. I tried to open it today and got the following error meassage.

An error occurred stating Movie Studio HD Platinum
An internal error happened in the Common Language Runtime's Execution Engine

Can anyone help

Reinstall VMS 10, and allow it to install NET if it asks to do so.
That will often take care of it.

Hi Thanks.

I have uninstalled 2x and reinstalled, with the same error. I made a mistake earlier by saying that I never used it. In fact, it was a free download with a Sony nex vg10 that I bought and I did try it out at the time. Just never used it since December last year. I am going to re install Movie Studio 9 Platinum which I bought about 18 months to 2 years ago, just to see if it works.

OK so I re installed Version 9 and I get the same message?
