movie Studio platinum 13 compoundplug.dll crash

Hi,
Can anyone please help with my problem? Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13 opens a project with no problem. However, the moment I try to do anything with it, it crashes with the problem described below.
Can anyone give me a clue how to fix it?

I think we need to look at your source media.

Movie Studio 16 Platinum continues to crash costing me a lot of time. any fixes out there?

@William-Graves This is a five year old thread relating to VMS13. Suggest you start a new thread and give us some info which without we cannot suggest any fixes.
