Movie Studio Platinum 13 not installing Windows 10

I purchased the upgrade package of Movie Studio Platinum 13 and tried to install on my Windows 10 (upgraded from 8.1). Ran setup as administrator. The installation goes through the motions and indicates installation is complete. However, there is no evidence of installation. No new folder, no desktop icon (box checked for this). My old version 12 still runs. There is no evidence of any new installation when looking at programs in the control panel. Tried installing on different disk. Same outcome...says installation complete but no evidence of installation. Tried downloading software and installing. Same result!

Is there a fix. Not too happy.

Hmm...this is one of the first instance of Movie Studio Platinum 13 not working in Win 10 that I have seen.

Have you looked at your C: drive and looked for it?

Since I don't have Win 10 I can't tell you exactly where it should be but in Win 7 it is here:

Program Files>>Sony>>Movie Studio Platinum 13.0

Try to look there and look for the exe file called: moviestudioplatinum130.exe

TreeTops is exactly right. That's where the file will install.
