Movie Studio Platinum 17 Windows returning to default bug

Not sure if this was an issue in previous versions.

This happens whenever I open the keyframe animation editor. I have noticed it when animating Clip and Picture-in-picture FX, but haven't tested other FX.

Every time I open the editor, the timeline Zoom, window size and structure etc reverts back to the default and I have to set it up again so I can work on the events I want. What is worse is that the very first edit I make, as soon as I have clicked on an event to change it, everything reverts back to the default again! After I have zoomed, dragged etc back to the way I want the window, it's Ok - I can edit events without it changing back to the default settings, but it will go back to the defaults as soon as I close the window. As I am editing many different tracks, this is a time consuming and frustrating process. The windows should retain their settings after they have been closed, and there is a definite bug in the 'first-click' behaviour.

Yes it annoys me as well. There's a thread somewhere on this and someone, probably 3POINT, suggested docking the window.

Thanks, I will look for that!
