Moviestudio won't open

My Moviestudio won't open. I have used the repair wizard and tried to reinstall. The Screenblast logo come up for a second and fades off without opening. Flummexed!

Maybe a system file's gone awol: If you're xp go to command prompt and type in sfc /scannow (note space) and put on os disc.

If still no go uninstall prog and type in search/find prog/maker's name and delete any residue files. The next bit is going into the registry but you can back it up 1st by 'exporting' to say desktop, making sure export range is set to all (doubleclicking icon on desktop will then revert back). Type in RUN regedit and navigate HKEYS_LOCAL MACHINE/Software/makers name, and delete folder, reboot and reinstall.

Same thing happened to me.... I haven't tried Laz's fix (but I will when I get a chance) I just created another user account in XP and it opens fine under the new account. Go figure...
