Moving backwards / forwards in music compilation

Hi,

My name is Koen and I'm new here. I wonder if someone could assist me on the following;

I have created a nice BluRay Audio "music compilation" disc that works fine in every other way.

The only thing that I cannot do while the disc is playing, is skipping, or moving forward / backwards to a next / previous track. Although in preview mode this seemed to work properly, once the BD is burned the next / previous track function and also the fast forward / backwards buttons on my remote do not work.
Maybe the inserted audio compilation does not support these functions or maybe my multiformat high-end player (Primare BD32, based on the Oppo players) does not support that. (which I doubt very much)

Is there any solution to this ? I believe the skip back / forward functions are neccessary to move back and forward into a compilation and skip tracks that one does not like to hear.

As already stated, in previewmode everything seems to work well, but once the BluRay is compiled, the music compilation plays from start to finish, without the possibility to go back or move forward to the previous or following track. Like with a regular CD or DVD it should at least be possible to choose previous or next tracks.

Any hints are welcome, for which I thank all of you.

Best regards.

For many set-top players the fwd/back navigation will not work on a burned blu-ray by DVDAPro if the media asset is authored into a sub-menu level of disc structure. This has been verified for a very long time and will probably never be 'fixed".

How this affects a musical compo disc is a good guess. If you are just advancing from simple audio asset media to the next -you have the option of creating a menu disc where all assets listed on the main menu. Then fwd/back should work once you enter an asset. Thematically for the end-user this is a better design approach.

Make sure in your author outline diagram that intro media label has not defaulted to an event status of disable fwd of the remote. All other assets will likely be okay.
