Moving Clips

I have 2 quick questions, and as always, thanks in advance...

I hit some option somehow and now my audio and video clips dont move together...
For instance, I drop in a clip, and if I am moving it around, only the video moves, and audio stays put...this didnt used to happen. It is very annoying to resync the audio every time...

Second, if I move two clips too close together, sometimes they join, and the fade in/out dissappears...
Oh, and I am using Vegas 4.0...I know..I should upgrade, but 4.0 is a workhorse for me!

I'm sure there is a simple solution!

Options- "Ignore Event Grouping"

Unclick that. About the disappearing of the fades, it happens to me all the time. I still haven't figured out a way to fix it...

The fade "disappears" because you're actually creating a very small overlap. Adjust the length of the event on the left slightly and then try again.
