moving clips around

TEP wrote on 10/3/2018, 3:49 PM

my clips in the timeline move really sluggishly. I see they added options for the edit tool, which I hate by the way, but it seems the one that works best, the slide tool, doesn't allow you to push a clip onto a higher track. Any solutions for this? Thanks. TP

No solution in VP16 besides this: Use normal edit tool. Use CTRL+ALT to "slide." This is handy when auto ripple is set and you only want to "slide" one event.

Just press "8" in the numeric keypad and the selected event will move to the track above

And 2 will take the selected event down a track!
