Hi,

Would you expand on how/why you want to move them?

ok i m doing a project, i want to shift 10 events with the marker to another place and keep the events/markers relatively.
when i select all events and move, the markers do not go with the events.
hope its clear.

Clear as a bell Way2,

You are using VV3, I assume?

To ripple events and markers you can de-select all (shift Ctrl-A), then delete/add time and the markers should move.

Hi all,

Markers move in V4 based on the ripple-mode selected on the toolbar... the button has a dropdown menu to choose the mode.

In VV3, you can use Insert>Time and key-in an entry.

Example: a new location (later) in the timeline is found for a sequence and markers...
To determine how much time is needed, the loop selector can be used and the value can be copied from the lower-right corner of the TL
Park the cursor at the place to insert time and de-select all (Shift-Ctrl-A)
Insert>Time paste value and OK, the markers and events should move

A new location earlier in VV3, can be easily edited by loop selecting the range, Shift-Ctrl-A, and delete or cut.
