Hi -
I saw the V4's publicity images, and am very excited about its impending arrival. I'm just learning about editing, so some of the features y'all are discussing sound really cool, but are a little out of my grasp (so far). I'm slowly working my way up the ladder, though.
I currently have VV3, but seeing the main V4 photo on their website made me even more want to be able to move my internal monitor-window from the default lower-right corner to the lower-center portion of my CRT. I researched some of the old posts here and learned how to 'grab' the corner of the window-frame and make it bigger/smaller, and even managed to completely delete it for awhile (a heart-stopper), but can't figure how to simply move it to the middle and force the mixer to the right.
I also experimented with a second video-card and an extra CRT. That sorta worked, in that I had the monitor image on the second-screen, but somehow lost the ability to control non-Vegas programs. I ended up with part of my programs on one screen, and the task-bar stuff on another. Too confusing.
I realize this isn't a big deal, and probably won't make my videos come out any better, but it just seems more natural for me to look straight down to see my work rather than flick my eyes off to the side.
Any help is appreciated.
