Moving video

I wonder if anybody can help...I have a many track slideshow that has a 4 second intro, I wish to delete the 4 second intro and replace it with a 20 second intro. What is the easiest way to shift everything else on the timeline to accommodate the new intro? Or is there any easier way of doing it please? Cheers John

Easy. Activate 'Auto Ripple' using its icon/button in the timeline task bar (that's the task bar underneath the timeline). But first, click on the little arrow to the R if the icon and select "All tracks, markers and regions". With Auto Ripple activated, when you move and event (audio or video), every other event behind that event also moves with the event that you are moving back or forward along the timeline.

Thank you very much, it's a feature that I have not used before so I will give it a go. Update, that worked a treat. Many thank John

One other thing, turn Auto Ripple off after you've finished using it because leaving it on can have some annoying consequences when doing other editing tasks that don't need auto ripple.
