Mp3 plugin?

After about 9 months of near-constant use, VF2 has suddenly begun prompting me to purchase a $20 mp3 plugin in order to use mp3 on the audio track or to export in mp3 format. This is a joke or a glitch, yes?

Have you used MP3 before? I believe you're allowed 20 encodes before registering the MP3 plugin. After this you have to register it (not buy it) before you can use it again. Registration is free.

If it won't let you register it before paying for it then you have a glitch and you'll have to contact customer service to get it ironed out.

yes, I used it, probably rather more than 20 times...

it just sends me straight to the website's shopping cart with the plugin added to it, all ready for me to enter my credit card number, so if it's supposed to be free, there's definitely a glitch. I'll contact service, see if they can help me. Thanks!
