mp4 created in Vegas 8.0c won't play on web

I created two mp4's using Vegas MainConcept. They play fine on the computer. They play fine when testing the web page in Dreamweaver 8. But, when I try to view them live on the web with ANY browser, all that pops up looks like programming text. If I right click the link, and try to "save target" it wants to call the mp4 file a html extension.

Well, you put two links at the bottom of your message .. but neither one was the file in question. It might help us to see that file.
