MP4 Proxy file created in DaVinci Resolve no TC in Vegas

Hi. I've created some MP4 proxies in DaVinci Resolve. Da Vinci Resolve sees the timecode in those Proxies but Vegas Pro doesn't. Am I missing something? It makes it hard to create an XML to roundtrip without that timecode. Here is a sample file that has a timecode start of 12:31:28;24 and end at 12:35:09;17

Is cineform an option?

I used to have the Cineform codec installed on this machine but I don't currently. Does Cineform work but not MP4?

I have an older version of Resolve and it does not see the timecode. Vegas Version 12 does not either.

hmmm. I'm using Resolve Studio 15

I know timecode capability has been in Resolve since inception, but maybe support for MP4 is recent.

I believe you are correct. they seem to have added some render format options to their pretty meagre list. In the past I had used cineform out of Resolve because they had no options for creating smaller compressed files. If I remember correctly I had to install Go Pro studio in order to get the cineform codec installed. Maybe they have a stand alone installer now?....

No it's all dead as far as Gopro are concerned. You can find a link to the old studio install on the Dr. Zen Vegas website I believe.
