I tried to load high-resolution MP4 video files to Vegas Pro 22. Below are the result.

  • 4K (3840 x 2160 px) /30fps : Both video track and audio track are displayed. Stream property is 'Video 1'.
  • 5K (5120 x 2880 px) /30fps : Only audio track is displayed. Stream property of the file is 'Audio 1'.
  • 6K (5760 x 3240 px) /30fps : Only audio track is displayed. Stream property of the file is 'Audio 1'.

All those files are recognized as video files in media player such as VLC media player.

If you know the way how to make Vegas Pro recognize 5K / 6K MP4 as video files, please let me know.

The resolution isn't the issue. Please do what Set advises to share what's in these mp4 containers.
