MP4 video files from the canon R5

I recently recorded 1080 video on my R5. I can view the video on the camera, but when I downloaded the MP4 files onto on a folder my PC, I cant open the files. I downloaded to Vegas Pro 18 and also could not open the files. Any idea what the problem is

@Cliff-Colreavy If u can make available a sample of the offending clip for download it can sometimes help.

#1 Canon raw is not supported in VP18 b482.

#2 The R5 All-I 8 bit 420 files (not Hevc, not Clog) only work properly in VP if decoding in I/O is set off.

#3 Hevc (CLOG) 10 bit 422 files don't load into VP18.

#4 Non Hevc, non Clog, 420 8 bit files load ok with the condition mentioned above about decoding set to off for ALL-I files.

#3 Files do load in VP16, but with a colour artifact.
