MPEG 1 rendering - no video

I want to render to MPEG1, but when I do so through VideoFactory it completes the rendering, but the resultant file ONLY has audio - no video.

I tried using TMPEGEnc and got the same result. I am able to play .mpg files from other sources on my PC.

I've just spend quite a bit of time going through past posts: I don't recall "registering" the MPEG codec after buying VideoFactory, but I may have purchased after all that went away.

VideoFactory 2.0c build 125
Windows 2000

Have you tried playing the mpg1 file on a different computer?

I tried it on a different machine, and it had the video track, so it worked.

I remember reading about this, but didn't find it in a search. Seems odd!

How can I play back .mpg files on the same machine where I render them using VideoFactory?
