Hello,
Here was the message I posted to support, only to be told this product is no longer supported.
Can anyone help me please?
"Hello,
I am trying to render a video - I want it in 1980 x 1080 format.
All the options make very large files, which is impractical for uploading over the internet except MPEG-2 format.
However, when I render MPEG-2 videos at this resolution, I get no sound on the finished file.
Perhaps it is because all the listed render options at this resolution say "Video Stream", and there is no customise option, so I cannot adjust the sound and video formats manually.
It looks like there are MPEG-2 formats that render with sound, but they are a much lower resolution of 1440 x 1080.
Please help me understand how I can render this format, at this resolution and still have sound playing.
Thank you."
Wow, what a joke trying to get help here.
First of all, my regstration for the site was lost, so I had to reset password etc etc trying to log in.
Then, finally once logged in, I posted my question, only for a prompt to pop up telling me that this product was no longer supported and to go to the forums.
Ok, so I went to the forums, tried to post a new topic, only to find, I now had to register again, even though I was already logged into the site.
Ok, so I did, that, registered again, logged in, went to post new topic, only to be told I had to select a forum username.
Ok, fine, I selected a forum username, and went to post new topic, only to have the terms and conditions pop up that I had to agree to before posting.
Now, I am finally here. I dont know if anyone from Sony is reading this, but what a joke. You guys charge enough for your products, you could at least make the user experience a little more streamlined. I have experience smoother and easier support on products that were free.
Anyway, thanks for the help if anyone can give me any pointers.
