MPEG 4

Does anyone know of a quality MPEG 4 encoding program? The digital network onto which I am to upload my video files supports this format. Supposedly this format offers better video quality over MPEG 2 at lower file sizes with less artifacting/combing.

I currently own V5. Does it make more sense to purchase an stand alone program for MPEG 4 encoding, or upgrading to V6? Does the Main Concept compression scheme remder high quality video?

Yup. It’s MainConcept’s MPEG4 converter. It does a great job.

I can get looking mpeg4 at SD and below resolutions, but I can't get results that are worth anything in HD from Vegas's mpeg4 export options. Am I missing something?
