MPEG Customizing doesnt work-

Okay before I could change the settings of the encoder but than one day it stopped working nothing pops up for Mpeg 1 and 2 too. I dont know what the problem is- Should I reinstall or what? Also it says that my encoder is older and would u like to upgrade when i run the mpeg setup- i got my vegas from school and well i look for help from you guys. just trying something new. so if you could help thanks-

If you check the Forums for MPEG or MainConcept you'll find that a lot of people were having problems with being able to customize the settings for MPEG output. Their is a fix that tells you to delete one of your MainConcept registration keys in REGEDIT. For some reason it sometimes loads a Double Registration in there if you have multiple copies of SoFo/Sony products. I can't remember the exact thread, but I know it fixed my problem.

Do a search and you'll find the fix. It's here, I just can't remember where.
