MPEG encoding

I know both Vegas and TMPGenc both use the Mainconcept encoder but has anyone done any encoding tests using Vegas Pro 8 and TMPGenc 4? My guess is that any differences would be minimal but always looking for an edge!

Haven't done any recent comparisons, but about two years ago we did, and Vegas had quite an edge, particularly on high-motion/high latitude scenes.
It's quite possible that with the changes to MC now, and to TMPG4 that it's a bigger difference.
I'm more wondering/concerned about what the DivX folks may do to MC.
