MPEG authoring is not supported in any of the products you currently have installed. MPEG rendering is enabled for Vegas Video (full version) and VideoFactory only.

See my previous question about the HSL filter. I downloaded the trial of Vegas Video, mainly to see if it too also has the HSL filter problem Video Factory has only to discover the trial is crippled and don't support MPEG apparently until you purchase and register.

Are there seperate MPEG plug-ins for Vegas Video and Video Factory or is it the same?

Vegas and VideoFactory use the exact same MPEG plug-in.

I DO have Video Factory and it IS registered! What I've been trying to say is that everything was fine until I installed the Vegas stuff that came with Acid 3.0 (which I ALSO bought and PAID for). I used to be able to output mpeg files from vide factory and since I installed Acid 3.0 and that other crap that came with it, I can't seem to render mpeg files anymore. Even re-installing the plug-in doesn't work. I don't see mpeg as an option when I try to render or save-as from VF anymore.

Is it too much to ask for these products and demos to coexist on my system without blowing eahc other up?
