MPEG2 Indexing?

When I play a DVD from Vegas/DVD Architect I cannot use the navigation slider (seek knob) in PowerDVD. Most commercial DVD's allow me to use this navigation tool to jump to any point in the movie. Is there a way to get Vegas/DVD-A to produce a file that allows random seeking? I have a vague memory of having to "Index" the MPEG but I was hoping this feature was built in.

You mean scrubbing/scrolling the video ?

Yes, like scrubbing, but in my DVD application.

My chapters all work, but I can't jump to a random point. I have to use FF/REW which is tedious.

Something must be wrong because in commercial DVD's I can scrub.

I've noticed this problem too in WinDVD.

Someone suggested using the latest DVD-A update. I'm going to try that today...

After upgrading to DVD-A 1.0b it worked. I can now use the scrubber in PowerDVD.
