Doom9 just finished his latest of three Codec comparisons. Despite the negative energy that surrounds me (and my computer's registries) whenever Realnetworks is mentioned. I have to admit, as the comparision confirms, their latest RM9 is getting up their with the big boys like Divx. It's probably a direct result of their licensing of the VP5 codec from On2, cause with their track record, I can't imagine them having written a codec of any RealUse or RealValue .
I mean Realplayer/Realones uncanny ability to cripple any computer and all its registry association, in a matter of seconds, is unmatched. Only the RIAA's mouth would water.
