MPG no audio (MPEG1 Interleaved ?)

I grab such a file (output from Quivic FLV - MPG converter) and drag it into Vegas. No audio track shows. How can I de-interleave it ?

FWIW the same file plays without audio in WMP11 (others report it as OK), but plays fine in Quicktime 7. PSP and ITunes conversion mode work OK, but ok course the video quality is somewhat diminished, even over the cruddy original.

Appreciate any suggestions.

Use the video from FLV converted file and the audio from the Itunes converted file.
