MS3 REG ERROR

Help! I was able to use Movie Studio 3 on my other computer. I installed it on my new one (HP Media Center m7167c) and cannot register the product. I installed the product and Sonic MyDVD. The MyDVD works fine but this MS3 asks if I want to register (I already have) After I go online and then tell the splash screen I want to register it continually comes back with an error message saying:

The following error occurred during registration of Screenblast Movie Studio 3.0. Please reattempt later.

ERROR:
An error occurred while communicating with the server. This could be due to network congestion or server failure. Please try again later.

Then it gives me a choice of retry or cancel. Retrying just gives the same error message. I am no dummy, I've been around computers since 286's. I am at my wits end with this registration process. I went back over one year on this forum to see if anyone else has had the same problem but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Oh, I received an activation code but it does no good if I cannot even get into the program past that registration screen.

Thanks for the input. I went out and got Vegas ver. 6 today and thought I would try that instead. All of the positive things said about it made my decision easier and now I got rid of that sonic mydvd thing too.
