Had a chance to try the MC in version 8 on an SDV project that I have just shot. All that I can say is "WOW!" It is so nice to have the PIP run at full rate. The other script based MC I was using ran at pretty slow rates (on my quad core machine) which made switching difficult. The only derog (so far) is that all effects etc. are lost when setting up for MC, so that they should be applied to the media in the bin. One may be able to put them on the takes after creating the multicamera track, but I haven't tried that yet.

Since I do a great deal of 2 and 3 camera projects this new feature alone makes it worth the $135!
