I have not been able to do that, although that would be nice.
When multicam editing is enabled it will only show you the different take camera views, and the active take is highlighted with a color around the active screen. (You can change the color of this highlight)
The only way I know to see only the final output is to disable multicam editing after your edit has been completed.

What I do is to make a multitrack master first.

I do this by putting each track into sync on the timeline with each other (another issue).

then I just sqoosh up the first track to the upper left side (for instance), the second track to the upper right, the third track to the lower left and the fourth to the lower right.

I will then "Render to a new track" and use that as the reference source for all. I also include the time code on each track for discrete reference as well.
