Multiple Boxes???

I was able to do this in Adobe Premier with one click... But can't figure it out in Vegas...

I'd like to have multiple boxes on the screen playing the same video... like a stack of TVs at Best Buy (he he). I think the effect in other packages is called "Multiply". Has anyone done this? Do I need a 3rd party effect package?...

I see proDad Heroglyph has this. I downloaded the demo and used the Star Wars crawl... very effective for the projects I was doing.

Thanks all.

Well, you could duplicate your track and use track motion to resize/place each image. Takes more time but you have more freedom afterwards.

Prodad can do this, as can Edward Troxel's Excalibur tool.
There isn't a free version of a tool that can do this...
You could use a series of Pan/Crops to create the location/size you want, but you'll still need to make duplicate tracks. Perhaps the easiest thing to do is to take the original event, pan/crop it to where you'd like one of the multiples to lie, and then make 8 copies of that event on 8 new tracks. Then simply use the arrow keys on your keyboard to place the images where you'd like them each to reside.
You could also use several duplicates of Track Motion as Nat mentioned.
But ProDad or a script would be much faster.
