Multiple camera project

I have a project with 3 cameras (different angles of a concert). I want to crossfade between the tracks. Is there a quick way of creating projects like this? How do I look at all three tracks at the same time so I can choose which angle I want to use. So far, I have used "track motion" to put each track in a corner of the screen so I can choose which of the 3 angles to use (crossfading with "composite level" envelopes). I am syncing them by their sound (easy to do). Is there a quicker way?

I found out tht the simplest way to work with multicam is to add the 3 cam shots as takes. you can then switch takes by pressing the T key. That works very very well, one event, one track, hapiness.

Only problem with this method is, if you have long files and want to cut from file to file, having 3 tracks is easier to work with.
For me, I use the Composite Envelope feature for my cuts from track to track. Works well in most scenarios. Excalibur script has a great multicam feature too...

Thanks everyone! I will look into MultiCam. Where can I get it?

A great feature to add to Vegas would be a tiny preview screen for each track. It could be located by the track parameters. Lots of CPU overhead but it would save people lots of time when doing Multi-Cam work.

1 - Use Track Motion to set up a kinda Video wall for the cameras - yeah?

2 - Just getting you the link to Excalibur and its Multi Cam demo . . .

I did the "video wall" technique. The only problem is when you set the composite level envelope to 0%, you no longer see that particular track. A preview window (available in the track properties of every video track) that ignored the composite level would really increase productivity for the Multi camera projects.

I have a complete writeup on multi-cam editing in my newsletter. I give you 4 methods for multi-cam editing including most of what has been mentioned above (I don't give a "takes" method).
