multiple DVD burns

I have always experienced failures when I select the option to burn another DVD. It seems to do everything OK but hangs on the burn leadout. The time clock continues to run but nothing happens after 5+ minutes. Canceling results in an unusable DVD. Am I doing something wrong or is this a known problem?
In fact, I have discovered that I must exit the program after the first bun or the computer locks up and I must do a cold boot to get things back up.

I get *that* problem too! I believe it's a same-sourced bug, with similar work-around.

I NEVER set the job for multiple copies. That NEVER works for me.

Before answering "YES" to another copy after the "one" copy is made, I insert a blank DVD in the open DVD machine door, close the door, and wait for the DVD machine's read light to go out. THEN I say "YES" and we're good to go.
