multiple time signatures-- question for peter haller

I was wondering if you plan to support the option to define
multiple time signatures instead of being limited to one
per project. As someone who often uses more than one time
signature in a piece of music, I think it would be great if
Vegas and Acid supported this feature. I know that Vegas is
an audio editor not a sequencer, but if I am mixing a song
sometimes I like to look at the ruler in bars and beats.
Also wondering when/if Sound Forge will go 24-bit.

Multiple Time Sigs along with a tempo map feature have been considered and will
be looked at for future revs.

Nothing I can say currently on 24 bit Forge.

Thanks
Peter

Hi!

I would like to second this feature as highly useful... If you are syncing vegas and an midi-sequencer and would like to, say
copy vocal harmonies from one verse to another in a song with a few time signature changes in it, this would mean that you will
have to check the (smpte) time in the sequencer to find the correct spot... I would very much like to see this in an early
version of Vegas.

...ability to import tha time signature changes from a MIDI-file would be nice too, since editing time changes in *two* programs
seems a bit boring... :)

Regards!
