Multiple Versions of Vegas on the same machine

Does anyone know if I can have two versions of Vegas on the same machine? I am running Vegas Platinum 9, but also have Vegas Pro 7 sitting on the shelf. Can I install it, or will it interfere with Platinum in any way?

The two versions should work and co-exist peacefully.

One piece of good advice any time you install, uninstall, upgrade, or change a Sony software program is to back up the "Shared Plugins" folder first. Doing so can save you headaches down the road.

I'd also recommend installing from oldest software to newest. Some plugins/files could be overwritten & you could wind up with some stuff that doesn't work properly.
