Multiple Video Tracks - Zoom Out feature

Hi

I have two videos of a dancer both shot with white background, and while I have one showing on one vertical half of the screen, I want to use a zoom-out on the dancer in other other vertical half so she keeps reducing in size and occupies a small part of that half.

I am able to have these 2 videos showing in the 2 halves all right, but when I try the Event Pan / Crop option to zoom out on one of them, I am only able to bring it down to maybe occupy a part of that that half. I wanted to make that dancer appear very small in that part of the screen .... not sure if this is a limitation of the tools or maybe I'm just not doing it right, or using the wrong option perhaps?

If you want to make something smaller, Track Motion is probably the more useful tool. Pan/Crop lets you specify how big the frame is around the image, while Track Motion lets you specify how small the image is inside the frame.

thanks you are a genius! and i've been hunting everywhere for this feature - any good set of tutorials out there (other than what's on youtube!) ??

There are 'show me how' tutorials included in the software. You could also watch the webinars in the Support>Training at the top of the page. Also, check out the Creativecow.net podcasts (available on their website) or via iTunes.
