The music tracks are included with the Vegas Movie Studio Production Suite.

Did you purchase the Production Suite -- or just Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum?

The music and sound fx are on your installation disc but are not automatically installed when you install VMS and DVD Architect Studio onto your PC.

Look for a folder called "Content" on your Vegas Movie Studio disc.

This question ("where is the music?") gets asked here every now and then. I don't have VMS but I found the answer in this thread:

LOL How refreshing! I hope you're having fun.

When you locate the music files, you might just want to copy the whole folder to your hard drive (drive space it pretty cheap these days). If you are working in VMS and you tried to reference the files from the install CD, then everytime you opened up your project you would need to put the install disc in the drive again -- so VMS could find the music files again.

Be aware that when you put video files and music in your project, VMS is still referencing the original files on your hard drive. Your filename.vf project file doesn't contain any video or audio files -- only references to the original files.

When you put a clip on the timeline, chop it in half, and delete the part you don't want, you aren't doing anything at all to your original video clip. When you put the whole thing on the timeline, VMS assumes you want to use the whole thing. When you chop it up and leave only a portion of it on the timeline, you are simply telling VMS to use "just this little section" of the clip. But the original video file is unchanged.
