music maintaining from menu to menu

Is it possible to have music from page 1
carry on to page 2 w/o there being a cut.

I can't seem to do this.

I have a wedding invite (built 3d) that spins while floating down while opeining up and then settles opened. The camera zooms in to the center page and then ends the first page
immediatley following
the second page is a rendered still of the last frame of the 3d avi but now the video selections and sub menus are on this page.
the problem is that the music (elton john your song) starts on the first page.
by the time the 25 sec animation is done on page 1 the end action takes it auto to the second page but the music is cut off. I need the music to continue to the second page and then loop the whole song again...
anyone....

Every menu on a DVD is a distinct video object with its own audio track. You cannot span a single audio track among multiple video objects.

The best you can do is cut your audio into two files outside of DVDA. Assign the first half to the first menu and the second half to the other menu. You'll want to choose the lengths wisely (between beats if possible), though, because most DVD players will pause slightly while it's switching menus. If you want to the song to play from the beginning afterwards, then you'll have to do some further fiddling:

1. First menu page has the first segment of the song. Automatically links to the second page.
2. Second menu page has the second segment of the song. Automatically links to a thirdpage.
3. Third page is an exact copy of the second page, but has the entire song. This loops.

Incidentally, the first page can probably be an introductory media rather than a menu. Have all your videos return to the version of the menu with the full song.

Though -- not that you asked my opinion -- looping a whole song could get annoying to the viewer. I would just have the full song in an introduction, and then maybe loop the instrumental part on the menu.

Another unasked-for-opinion: My wife and I used the version of "Your Song" sung by Ewan McGregor in Moulin Rouge for our first dance -- it was quite a hit. ;-)

I have the same issue, only after the first page the user selects which menu to choose. After selecting the menu the entire song has to be restarted which is aggrevating. I only want them to listen/hear the song on any of the first 2 menu choiced. Is there not a way with maybe an addon for DVDA?
Thanks

This is a limitation of the DVD structure, not the authoring software. Deal with it.

Is there a way to do a play once feature. By saying this if the user comes back to the same page more than once the audio will only play one time once the disc has started?
Hope this makes sense.

Sure - just make the page they come back too a duplicate of the page that they first encountered, but without the audio.
