Hello,
I am a Music Producer learning about Video production. I've purchased Vegas 7 and have been overwhelmed just reading some of your posts. However, I am determined to learn this necessary part of media, to complement my Music production.

If anyone is interested in customized music tracks for videos, or you have clients that need such, feel free to contact me.

Im a man of Integrity and will work to give you the tracks you need.
I collaborate with various musicians locally and via the web. I use Cakewalk and can export OMF and Broadcast Wave files.
Let me know.

A truly wonderful offer but well, this a global forum, might be an idea to let us all know where in the world you are. I even tried your web site but that didn't help either.

But apart from that welcome to the world of Vegas. It can be a bumpy ride but if you're the kind that enjoys the journey as much as the destination then trust me you're in for a great time.

Area Code 904 would suggest that he is in the Jacksonville, Florida, USA area.

rchristiejr,

being a music producer, i would suggest taking a look at ACID. the interface is very similar, but it does have a steeper (IMO) learning curve. i come from a music background as well, & started with ACID. do that, and your transition to Vegas will seem like playing in 6/8 - difficult for some, but simple if you know what you're doing.

also, i'm in tallahassee, but i'm in jax pretty regularly. i'd be interested in collaborating with you some time.

Sounds good Andre.
Ive worked with ACID files, Cakewalk Sonar6, Project 5 and others.
I both compose and use samples for my music.
