Music/Sound Effects

I have Vegas Movie Studio 8 when I was looking at this page under the audio section it says: Add Music and Sound Effects
Vegas Movie Studio software includes professional-quality music beds that you can use to score your video, plus 1,001 sound effects to enhance your movies. You can also import your own music directly from CDs or MP3 audio files.

It clearly says it comes with audio tracks like loops and stuff but I can't find it and don't even think it comes with it. Can someone please help me/clear this up.

If you bought the packaged version then the audio clips are included on the DVD you received. Browse around that disc and you'll find them. They aren't automatically copied to your hard drive when you install because it would eat up a LOT of space.

If you bought the downloaded version then you can order a disc with all that material for a nominal shipping fee. Contact customer support and ask.

These sounds come with the boxed version only, not with the download version of VMS.
I happen to own them, and I must tell you that they are rather disappointing. Therefore I would suggest that you use other sources for music and loops.
Here are my favourite sites:
www.soundsnap.com
www.acidplanet.com (look for the free 8packs)

Good luck!

I agree with Ivan123, the sound effects on CD are disappointing. Have a look at www.freeplaymusic.com for a fairly wide range of music themes.
