Music Transition on the Menu Pages

I'm putting together a DVD that has two menu pages with background music. I noticed that the background music restarts whenever I navigate from menu page to menu page.

Is there a way to keep the background music playing continously while navigating the menu pages?

I believe that there *might be* commercial/retail DVDs that have continuous sound... I remember the discussion (I *Think* at videohelp) but unfortunately not much more than that in case you wanted to spend some time searching.

One guess on coming close to that effect would be a pain to implement though... Instead of having menus in the menu domain, use BOV... That way you could have chapters with each menu, and buttons that would go to the corresponding chapter in another menu video, either hard coded or maybe scripted.

All that I've seen however use a repeating pattern in the menu audio -- say a constant drum track or whatever -- that gives the illusion of continuity as the next audio stream fades in.
