Do you mean on the lower left of the screen? I just used Arial when i've done stuff like that. looks good.

I think MTV and VH1 stopped playing videos some time back in the late 80's!!!

:-)

As for fonts...Arial is a good font to use. But, what ever stikes your fancy pretty much should work. Just keep in mind your target audience and the media they use to view the work (TV, PC Screen, etc).

You want to make it read-able (so not too small)...but you don't want it to take away from the screen (so not too large either).

IMHO, I try and stay away from cursive fonts....to hard to read especially if there is action goin on on the screen.

Cheers.

Arial, Franklin Gothic, Halvetica, Verdana are pretty safe & readable. Informal's kinda fun & still readable. Just remember that NO ONE (well, maybe 1 in 100) is going to think twice about what font they're looking at, so long as it's readable.

More important, as kam pointed out, is that the titling be the appropriate size. You'll want titles to be a bit larger if you're streaming online, but be careful if your target consumption is TV...what looks great on that 320X240 preview can look GREAT BIG on a 32" screen...

Thanks,

I guess it's not as critical as I thought.
