Must deactivate/reactivate EVERY TIME my network connection changes

One of my two Vegas 14 licenses is used on my laptop computer. Sometimes I use the laptop's wireless adapter, and other times I plug it into my network. And when traveling I'll use a different router sometimes.

EVERY TIME I switch network adapters, Vegas requires me to deactivate and re-activate in order to run. It doesn't take long, but this is really becoming a nuisance.

In a future build, could Magix please consider altering the "is this still the same computer" detection algorithm to be a little more foregiving of network adapter changes on the same computer?

FWIW and just for info: I also use a copy of Vegas 14 on a PC plus two laptops - sometimes with WIFI connection and sometimes with a cabled LAN - sometimes at home and sometimes at hotels and other places. Never had to do anything but just to start Vegas normally. Laptops: ACER Aspire E 15 and ACER Aspire E1-572.

I use only the built-in network adapters (WIFI and LAN) in the laptops, however - if this has any importance..

Huh.. Interesting. Well, I am only using it on my desktop and laptop, and this de-activate/re-activate thing is almost becoming routine over here. Of course, this only applies to Magix Vegas 14 and not earlier versions.

Vegas 14 also causes my older router to reboot every time it activates then the second time after it reboots it works OK. Windows 10 also slams the router shut wile downloading updates so went back to Windows 7.

This is pretty understandable. Ethernet network adapters have a unique MAC address. Every adapter ever made has a unique MAC. Therefore most every algorithm for mixing machine properties into a result, "is this a different computer" will weight the MAC address very heavily in that result.

Obviously I don't know their code, but having both adapters always present/on but routing what is used at any given time is probably your only solution. Also, maybe if/once activated with both adapters on/enabled maybe they will be okay when only one of those two are active in the future.
